The cfnfc.org site has been completely redone in WordPress so we can take advantage of all the SEO features and CMS features of WordPress 3.0. The Atahualpa theme has again proven flexible enough to handle anything I can dream up. We have a nice slider on the front page (Smooth Slider plugin) where new donation based classes can be promoted. Google bot reads the content promoted in the slider so people can usually find the classes in the search engine the same day they are posted. Also we have some unique stuff in the sidebar like fun.perksforus.com, a super simple way to generate cash for cfnfc. Just shop from any of the stores on that page (Amazon, Newegg, etc), and as long as you start shopping from fun.perksforus.com a percentage of your purchase will automatically go to Community Fun and Fitness Center! It costs you nothing and there’s nothing extra you have to do. I love it, if only I could remember to use it every time I buy something online!
